Anyway lots has happened in the last 6-8 weeks and I try to cover most of it here. From Derma Rite imploding to 319 snfs changing hands (or slated to) to tons of new guys getting into the game (about 15 single snf new owners) there's lots going on in the snf world.
In other news Cascade is about to close or just closed on a huge deal 40 buildings across the Southeast. The purchase is from Tara Cares - old goyim based in Buffalo NY who have been operating these facilities for like 30+ years.
Mazal tov to Yitz Rosenblum who has been crushing it as the lead dealmaker for Cascade.
They will be partnering with operators. Yudi Hertz and Steven Apfel will be getting a bunch and Effy Nussbaum and Sol Heller will be getting the Georgia side of this portfolio. Steven Schwartz and Shimmy Idels, Sol Gurwitz, and others in the mix as well for pieces.
This deal sold for roughly $600m shekels.
Nice to see a great venture for everyone involved. Some great guys in the mix who pay their vendors and make a kiddush hashem out there! Jason Newman will take over the Oklahoma part of this in a few weeks to months.
Chuny herzka brought 7 in Kentucky from LTC.
Autumn Lakes picks up 1 in Conn from Naftali Weiss and Lara Altice. A goy and yid partnered up in snfs? Now I've seen it all.
Judah Zutler picks up 2 in Minnesota from North Shore.
