The 15-Minute Admission That Makes Everyone Else Look Like They're Working in Slow Motion

What They Do: Run your entire admissions department. From referral call to patient in bed - they handle it all.

The Shmooze Take: We've all watched this movie. Hospital calls Tuesday at 9 AM with a referral. Your admissions director scribbles notes, emails the DON who's in a meeting, plays phone tag with the discharge planner, waits on insurance verification, and finally calls back Friday to say "we can take her!" By then the patient's already doing PT at your competitor's facility.

Censible's fix is deceptively simple: when a referral comes in, they conference the clinical reviewer, insurance coordinator, and admissions director together. All three work the case simultaneously. Three days becomes 15 minutes or less. (Yeah, we made a comic about it - see page 3.)

The Boots-On-Ground Thing: Since 2015, they've been embedding actual people into facilities - marketing liaisons who build relationships with hospital discharge planners. Old-school relationship selling that still works in healthcare.

The Real Talk: Not cheap. But what's an empty bed costing you - $300-$400/day? If Censible fills even 2-3 more beds per month than your current setup, they've more than paid for themselves.

The Shmooze Verdict: When a discharge planner has twelve facilities on speed dial, who gets the placement - the one that calls back in three days or the one ready to go in fifteen minutes?
